Getting started

Open a real file first.

BigdataSight Viewer is designed to reach a useful first result without an account, tutorial project, or cloud upload.

Use either the Direct download or the Mac App Store. Purchases, restores, refunds, and updates stay with that distribution channel.

Start with a Parquet or CSV file in Viewer. BigdataSight asks macOS for access only when you choose a source.

Review the grid, schema, and metadata, then filter the current table or run a read-only query against its view.

Pro adds more formats, remote sources, cross-source work, broader export, and a larger workspace. Viewer has no registration or time limit.

Before opening a format or remote source, check the current Supported Sources and Known Limitations. For a reproducible problem, contact BigdataSight Support without sending confidential data.
