Terms of sale and website use

Effective July 24, 2026

These terms govern your use of the BigdataSight website and the offer, delivery, and support of BigdataSight Direct. “BigdataSight,” “we,” and “us” mean Rui Wang (王瑞), trading as Sunny Warrior Studio, an individual software licensor based in Shanghai, China. By using this website or completing a Direct purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Purchase roles and applicable agreements

Paddle is the authorized reseller and merchant of record for Direct purchases. Paddle processes checkout, payment, applicable taxes, receipts, and payment refunds. Your payment transaction is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Termsand privacy notice. Sunny Warrior Studio is the supplier's trading name, and Rui Wang is the software licensor.

Use of BigdataSight Direct is governed by the BigdataSight Direct End User License Agreement. The Mac App Store edition and its in-app purchase are separate: Apple handles that transaction, and the software is licensed under the Apple Standard EULA unless a different agreement is shown in the App Store.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you purchase or use BigdataSight for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to the applicable terms.

3. Product and pricing

BigdataSight Viewer is available without charge. BigdataSight Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The price and any applicable tax shown in Paddle Checkout at the time you place the order are the final amounts for that transaction. Promotional pricing may be limited by time or availability.

A valid Pro purchase permanently unlocks the Pro capabilities of the current BigdataSight product, subject to the license agreement, and includes updates to that product made generally available without an additional charge. It does not promise any particular future feature, release date, support period, or continued availability of third-party services. A separately offered successor product or service may require a separate purchase.

4. Order acceptance and delivery

A Direct order is accepted when Paddle confirms payment. No BigdataSight account is required. After payment, a license key is made available on the confirmation page and sent separately to the email address used at checkout. You are responsible for checking that address before paying and for keeping the license key confidential.

If the license email does not arrive, contact licenses@bigdatasight.com or support@bigdatasight.com with your Paddle order reference. Do not send payment card details. We may ask for reasonable purchase information before recovering a license or correcting its delivery address.

5. Direct activation

One Direct license is for one user and may be active on up to two Macs at a time. Initial activation and device changes require an internet connection. You may deactivate a Mac before activating a replacement. The license service may perform occasional entitlement checks as described in the software, but a temporary service outage will not intentionally disable a locally valid entitlement.

6. Refunds and payment disputes

Direct purchases include the 14-day refund right described in our Refund Policy. A completed full refund or payment reversal may revoke the associated Pro entitlement. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or a more favorable remedy that Paddle or applicable law provides.

7. Website use

You may use this website for lawful evaluation, purchase, download, and support. You must not:

• interfere with the website, checkout, license service, or their security;
• use automated requests in a way that disrupts or unreasonably burdens the service;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or license records; or
• misrepresent your identity, purchase status, or entitlement.

8. Intellectual property

The website, BigdataSight software, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Rui Wang, trading as Sunny Warrior Studio, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership. Rights to use the software are granted only by the applicable end user license agreement.

9. Accuracy and availability

We try to keep product descriptions, compatibility information, and documentation accurate. The website and download or license services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. BigdataSight is a technical tool, not professional, legal, financial, or compliance advice. You remain responsible for verifying queries, results, and exports before relying on them and for maintaining appropriate backups.

10. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. We do not exclude warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses, including loss of profit, opportunity, or data. Our total liability relating to a paid Direct license will not exceed the amount paid for that license. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where liability cannot be limited, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of mainland China, without regard to conflict of laws rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your habitual residence. Consumers may bring a claim in their local courts where mandatory law permits. Otherwise, the courts with jurisdiction in Shanghai, China have jurisdiction; for business users, that jurisdiction is exclusive to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes and general terms

We may update these website terms prospectively by publishing a revised effective date. The terms presented when you purchase continue to govern that purchase, and a later website update will not retroactively remove a valid permanent entitlement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
